Thoughts about coffee

Today, I went out with two really good friends of mine. We sat in a coffee house, ordered our beverages and started talking.

I would lie if I said that we didn't spend some time on our phones, but it was not much and it was mostly because we all wanted to see something in particular or to take some pictures all together. What is more, yes, in the beginning we could not think of a topic to talk about. You should not worry about that though. It is not possible to always have something new to say. Do not be afraid of the silence. If you are with true friends, you will always find a past adventure to comment about or you will want to know their opinion about a new problem or concern of yours. Eventually, you will end up either laughing or discussing a thorny issue or both.

What I enjoyed the most about this gathering was the talking. After a while, significant topics in relation to life, dreams and relationships were coming up. I am not saying that we are so cultivated that we only talked about serious issues or that we did not have times that we were saying or doing silly things but our conversations were really interesting.

When you find people that you feel free to share your worries, your dilemmas, your questions about life and you care about their views and the way they deal with the everyday problems, keep them as close as you can.

How can you do that? Suggest to go out for coffee. Of course, you can go and drink something else or you can go to eat something or just go for a walk or stay home and talk. My suggestion is coffee because that was what we did today and it was awesome.

I understand that you may be busy or not have money to spend. However, I would strongly recommend that you keep in touch with your friends and save some money in order to go out for coffee at least once every two weeks. You don't have to go to an expensive place. Just find a café that is compatible with your aesthetics and your budget and hang out there.

So, if you have some friends that you haven't seen for a long time or if you have missed a specific group of friends, gather them and go drink a cup of coffee. I guarantee you that you'll have a blast!
