8 Books I Want to Read Before the End of 2023📚🎆

Image
Believe it or not, 2023 has been here a long time and it is about to "leave". We have two more months of reading to do and there are some books I want to read before the end of 2023. The majority of the books in my list are romances. Although I love romance, the genre offers such a wide variety of tropes that I've felt overwhelmed and hesitant to explore it despite it seeming tailored to my tastes. But now I just want to enjoy stories and not stress over reading highly regarded fiction. So, below you will find some books that I am excited to read because they will fill the last days of 2023 with romance, heartbreak, darkness, curiosity, and laughter.

Life has been tedious and eventful at the same time. Anyway, today you get a birthday book haul as it is never too late to commemorate the love you get from family and friends.

Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn 📕 REVIEW

Image
A truly sharp crime fiction novel that keeps readers hooked up to the very last page. A small village filled with secrets and unwritten rules gets unsettled after the murders of young teenage girls. Everyone could be the murderer.

A Big Library Haul 📚

Image
I think that no introductions are needed for these types of posts, but I do have something to say. Because I am a slowreader, I try to borrow a couple library books at a time. However, I don't know what exactly happened the last time that I went to the library and I came home with 5 books, which is the maximum number of books that I could borrow. They just all seemed so great that I couldn't risk forgetting about them or not finding them there at my next visit. Thus, let me present the books that I borrowed this time.

March 2023 📚 Wrap up

Image
I know that this is way too late (again), but I thought that I should post it for the sake of consistency. Unfortunately, March wasn't a good month in terms of quantity, but at least I'm happy with the quality of the books! Are you interested in seeing what books I read in March? Well, either way here they are.

February 2023 📚 Wrap up

What I can promise is that I will share my genuine thoughts on all my reads and that I will try to read diverse books from different genres.  If you are into literary fiction, you will love the books I read in January!

My 1st Library Haul 📚

Image
Libraries are definitely one of the coolest places in the world; a huge room full of books and you can borrow whatever you want for free —it sounds like heaven! If I stay in a place for longer than one month, you can bet that I will become a member at the nearest library. Although it took me a bit longer to join the library in Ioannina, where I live now, it finally happened. So, you should expect many more library hauls from now on!  For your information, even though I am not a student anymore, I joined the university library for two reasons: I hoped that they will have many books in English, and I wanted to have access to academic books.  And now, I'm ready to present you the books I borrowed! All the descriptions are taken from the blurbs.  1. Five One-Act Plays by Sean O'Casey  Plays included:    The End of the Beginning                                  ...
