Thoughts about my dream job

If you keep up with my posts, you know that I've been hinting that something exciting has happened. Let me just recap by reminding you that I was looking for a job (Thoughts about searching for job) and I actually found one (Thoughts about starting a job I know nothing about).

And now the news. I resigned from the coffee shop after a week, because I was offered the job of my dreams. As you probably know, I am an undergraduate student studying English Language and Literature, which prepares me to become an English teacher -among other things. But it was when my sister asked me to help her improve her English by becoming her teacher, that I realised that I really like and enjoy teaching (Thoughts about teaching English). So, I don't know what the future holds, as there are a lot of things related to English that I love, like translation, but I know that I will pursue teaching somehow.

 But for now, I have officially entered the sector, as I have 3 students of my own. A friend of my sister asked me to help her children with English. And of course, I said yes. The reason that I failed on 29 September at my challenge post (Action Movies Every Day) was because that was the day that I first met with the kids. 

 Until now, we have done three lessons and I am really ecstatic. The kids are really nice and fun to be around and they seem excited to see me and learn from me. And I am excited as well, as I try to make every lesson as fun as I can so that they enjoy the process of learning and more importantly to impart my knowledge and love for English to them. 

 To cut a long story short, I am really happy for the new career-wise chapter in my life and I wish to have more students soon.

It's not me in the pic.. *Fun Fact: I have dark hair!* I had my hair cut yesterday. Now my hair reaches down my shoulders. Thoughts about getting closer to your dream

Yesterday was a great day for me. Yesterday I accepted an offer of attending the MA Creative Writing course at University of Nottingham. And from now on -although lessons start in September- I am officially a postgraduate student. 😄 The aim of this post isn't to brag about my life -although I see that I totally did so in the introductory paragraph- but to show everyone, including myself, that it is totally possible to make your dreams come true.
