Thoughts about my YouTube channel

About two months ago, I reached 1.000 subscribers to my YouTube channel. Honestly, I didn't think that this would happen because I upload lyric videos. Of course, I wanted and I expected some of my videos to get a lot of views, as I make videos for songs that I really like and I hope that people will get the chance to listen to them and identify with them hopefully as much as I do. But because I rarely subscribe to music and lyric related channels I wasn't thinking of how many subscribers I have.


So, this post is a big thank you to all the people who out of their many suggested videos, they saw something in my videos and clicked on them. And even a bigger thank you to those who believed that I can provide them with good music and subscribed. And spreading my favourite music is what I am trying to do.

I decided to write a complete post for this YouTube success, since I started uploading videos in order to enrich my blog content and to promote it. And more specifically, it was the Thought about creativity post that gave me the idea to use videos that I create for my blog. And I knew that making lyric videos is easy and fun, as when I was younger, my best friend and I would make videos of our favourite songs and upload them (unfortunately, I deleted them from my channel a long time ago).

And if you remember the Thoughts about vlogging post, then you know that I tried to experiment with the content of the channel, as I don't see it just as a tool for advertising my blog but as another creative outlet. And it makes me happy when my two mediums of expression can supplement or complete one another. And even though my YouTube channel has been devoted to music, I am thinking of expending its content and trying to spice things up a little bit. 

But for now it is all about music. And I do want to apologize for not uploading frequently and consistently but not only have I been extremely busy with my studies and work but also I want to be extremely passionate and totally in love with the songs that I upload. So, as you can understand I wanted the song that I would upload as a thank you to be special. 

And I decided that it can't be other than the Miracle by The Score. Miracle is a song that I discovered by chance a long time ago and that made me want to search other songs of the band. And although I found many songs by The Score that I loved, I chose Miracle, because it set me -and I think everyone who listens to it- at the right mood in order to face and overcome any difficulty. Even though the lyrics are pessimistic, as they describe feelings of failure and say that only a miracle can save them, the dynamic music that accompanies them motivates the listeners to cheer up, find their strength and see that the miracle that they are seeking is in their mind and soul. 

And in this optimistic after all tune, I will end this post. Thank you again for the support. It means the world.
