I'm Thinking of Reading a Book 💁🏻‍♀️

Let me start by saying that I am not a very religious person in the traditional sense of the word; I rarely go to church and I rarely fast or pray. However, I do believe that there is a god. In other words, I don't really believe in the institution but I believe in a greater power that watches over us and our actions on this earth can determine our afterlife journey. You may or may not have guessed my religious beliefs but I don't think that there is any point in stating them. But let me expand on that.

If you follow my blog for a while, you might have noticed that things change frequently around here. Why? Well, this blog is me and I am not a very decisive person. For sometime now I wanted to change the title and the URL of the blog because it contained my name and it didn't feel personal enough. Or to put it correctly, I felt that by having my name on the screen people might get so caught up with it that they might read my experience and feel happy or sorry for me instead of attempting to put themselves in my shoes. In addition to that, I felt that it was a bit egotistic from my part to have my name up there and distinguish myself from the readers while my goal is to connect with them.

I am officially 22 years old! Actually I am 22 years and 5 days old. How do I feel about it? Well, it is weird and a bit scary getting older and older. However, I can guarantee that wisdom does come as you get older. 

Dear Valentine, I feel that as years go by more and more people are against your celebration on the 14th of February. But can you really blame them? The commodification of love -since every partner that respects himself or herself is supposed to buy sweets, teddy bears or heart-toys or flowers- does not have to do with the expression of love but with the interest of shopkeepers. It is this exploitation of love, of such a lofty and pure concept, that can make people furious even at the mention of Valentine's day.

I don't know if you noticed but I didn't post anything the previous month. And that was because the first month of 2019 was very, very ... bad.

About two months ago, I reached 1.000 subscribers to my YouTube channel. Honestly, I didn't think that this would happen because I upload lyric videos. Of course, I wanted and I expected some of my videos to get a lot of views, as I make videos for songs that I really like and I hope that people will get the chance to listen to them and identify with them hopefully as much as I do. But because I rarely subscribe to music and lyric related channels I wasn't thinking of how many subscribers I have.

If you keep up with my posts, you know that I've been hinting that something exciting has happened. Let me just recap by reminding you that I was looking for a job ( Thoughts about searching for job ) and I actually found one ( Thoughts about starting a job I know nothing about ).

I don't know if you can tell by reading my posts but I am the type of person who likes having a routine. However, I also like to spice things up from time to time. So, I thought that it would be a good idea to share the times that I feel adventurous and I seek a change.

If you had read my previous post , you know that today was my first day at my new job (🎉). I promised that I would share with you my thoughts and feelings about my first day (I see a tradition being formed here, check out my first day at my previous job ) but I didn't realistically think of how that day would be and how I would feel about it.

If you had read my previous post (if not, click  here ), you would know that for the past two weeks I had been pretty stressed out about my uni exam. But there was one more reason why I was stressed and as you've probably guessed by the title that was because I was looking for a job.
